Speech Therapy Services

One-on-One
Personalized Care

Services

  • We use evidence-based tools and approaches to evaluate and treat speech and language disorders.

  • This intervention helps clients to develop safe swallowing, effective feeding patterns, and positive mealtime behaviors so that it can lead to a positive mealtime experience. Very picky eaters may be appropriate for therapy.

  • Telehealth brings quality speech and feeding therapy services to you virtually.

  • We work together with parents, teachers, and therapy providers to provide effective care across environments and educate others about speech, language, and feeding skills.

  • A free 10-15 minute phone call to discuss your concerns, determine if an evaluation is needed, and schedule an evaluation.

  • An initial evaluation may include a review of pertinent records, discussion of caregiver concerns, observation, informal and formal assessments, and a discussion regarding initial recommendations. Evaluations typically take one to two hours. The therapist will then create a written report and review it with you.

*An evaluation is required prior to beginning therapy services.

  • Speech Therapy sessions focus on the goals that the therapist and family have created together and at a frequency that we determine together. Therapy sessions will be family-centered, child-led, and play-based. Therapy will utilize a combination of therapeutic approaches and child interest and strengths to target the goals. Sessions typically range from 30-45 minutes in length. Therapy will either be in-person or via video-conferencing. The location of the therapy can be in the child's home, school, or in the community, based on where the therapist and family have decided is most beneficial for the child.

  • Collaborative consultations can be a service to discuss any questions or concerns that you would like to problem solve together. This may be a session with or without the child present and can be used to collaborate with other professionals in that child's team. Sessions can occur in person or via telehealth.
